Barley (Hordeum vulgare)is one of the most widely grown cereals. Young barley is harvested at a height of 15-20 cm above the ground. During this period, the plant collects the most nutrients in a form that the body absorbs very well.

Our BIO YOUNG BARLEY is a natural source of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins and green chlorophyll. It contains group B vitamins, vitamin C, E, K, H, choline, fibre, amino acids and beta-carotene. A lesser known choline is the basic building block of the acetylcholine neuromediator. A neuromediator is a substance that mediates neuromuscular signal transmission in the brain, therefore it’s important for the nervous system’s proper functioning. It’s rich in minerals: potassium, calcium, copper, iron, phosphorus or magnesium.
It also contains 20 amino acids including eight essential ones that our body can’t create by itself. Amino acids are building blocks of protein and are therefore essential for cell production, recovering damaged tissues and energy supply.  The contained chlorophyll promotes the production of red blood cells, thereby ensuring optimal oxygenation and nutrition of the cells.
